Cedrick Goodman is an Author, Motivational Speaker, Community Activist and Real Estate Consultant. He is the Program Director and Founder of Yack & Associates, LLC a Personal Development and Real Estate Consulting Company. After evaluating the needs in his community he decided to establish The B.C.Community Development Corp. a 501c 3 Non-Profit Organization designed to address the needs and services affecting the African American Community. He has been appointed by the Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders as a member of the Alcohol & Drug Addiction Advisory Counsel or (LACADA) and also Co-Chair of its Sub-Committee within the Middlesex County Board of Human Services. In June 2009 Mr. Goodman along with twenty four other committee candidates made political history after beating incumbants and winning seats within the New Brunswick Democratic Party for the first time in forty years and was elected to his first term as a Middlesex County Democratic Committeemen and ran un apposed his second term and re-elected by the residents of his district in June 2011. He continues to serve by advocating for residents on the social, economic, and political issues affecting city residents of New Brunswick, NJ. He is a graduate of the New Brunswick Tomorrow 2010 Leadership Development Training Program. His memberships include the Middlesex County Democratic Organization, Democrats for Change, MoveOn.org, The National Association for Campus Activities (NACA), Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities (APCA), and Associate Member of the National Speakers Association (NSA) as well as (FAMM) Family's Against Manditory Minimums and the ACLU or the American Civil Liberties Union. In 2009 Mr. Goodman was also nominated by the Inagurational Committee of Governor Chris Christie as a candidate as one of New Jersey Heroes.
